During the operation of the strain wave gear, sometimes there is noise. It is not just annoying, but harmful to our product. How can we find out the problem? Let’s see the following resolutions.
1. If there is irregular noise, it may have fragments inside the strain wave gear.
2. Periodic noise is generally caused by the assembly or accuracy of parts.
① Assembly: interference
② Accuracy of parts: the parallelism of the two mounting surfaces of the motor and the strain wave gear is poor, or there are burrs and bulges on the mounting surface
3. No grease is added or the lubrication is insufficient.
4. The noise is from the motor.
5. The input end of type III or IV strain wave gear is knocked, and the flexible bearing produces "Brinell indentation".
6. Abnormal noise from synchronous pulley and bevel gear. Abnormal noise frequency should be measured.
7. The synchronous pulley is too tight or too loose.
8. Sealant enters the teeth of circular spline and flexible spline.
9. When the motor is at 2000r / min and 1m away from the strain wave gear, measure the sound decibel value of the strain wave gear. Generally, the noise of the strain wave gear is about 60db.
